Busuanga is a world known diving destination. It has been forever famed for Coron Bay and the many shipwrecks. The shipwrecks were part of a Japanese fleet, hiding out in the bay during 2nd world war. Their destiny was brutal and bloody. In 1944 they were bombed and sunken by Americans warplanes.
Today, you can dive the massive wrecks, some of them lying on the bottom just as they would have been resting on the surface that night almost 70 years ago. If you are not already hooked on wrecks, this will be your revelation point. But the area has more to show than just wrecks.
